Dr Mihajlo Popesku is a Serbian-born marketing scientist, tech entrepreneur, and crypto-evangelist. He is a co-founder and Chief Research Officer at Qudo, a London-based start-up with the mission to remove complexity from research and targeting by using artificial intelligence, and one of the founding members of AVentures DAO, a crypto VC fund native to Avalanche blockchain.
Before joining insight industry, Mihajlo lectured Applied Statistics, Research Methods, and Strategic Marketing at several universities in the UK and overseas. Working as a Head of Research in several world-renowned companies, he has been helping corporations and governments understand, model, and quantify various social complexities and deliver positive outcomes. In april this year, tempted by the rise and expansion of decentralise finance (DeFi) applications, Mihajlo has actively joined crypto space and successfully engaged in various forms of yield farming on BSC, Avalanche, Matic, Terra and Solana.
With his colleagues at AVentures DAO, Mihajlo supports and invests in early-stage crypto-projects native to Avalanche. He claims to be a crypto-maxist, believing that DeFi protocols will obliterate banking/financial systems, and that the party is yet to begin.
